Long story but Johnny Mc is behind a lot of the legal aggression, rightly, as they're picking of easy wins to make points about abuse.

 

Not sure what the overall strategy is, if there even is one, but they're taking a childlike glee about being off the leash to chase things like this.

In the 90’s Spitting Image lawyers would be telling the program makers that Maggie sketches were libellous.  They didn’t care as they knew she wouldn’t sue.

Is that true?

 

I don't recall any of their sketches being used to promote lies which had damaged anybody's career.

(Also, of course, the Thatcher sketches had dried up in the 90s.)
