  1. 1. Should Corbyn remain as Labour leader?

Here's Corbyn's full speech about Labour's industrial strategy (which has been misrepresented as pro-Brexit isolationism).

There is some tit in the Independent ( a sixth-former judging by the content ) claiming that Corbyn is the rightful leader of UKIP !!

Jolyon has a valid point. In this day and age of news being delivered in soundbites does anyone really believe that "cheap labour from aboard" isn't a deliberate sop to the racists in the country? Speeches are vetted and proof read a million times. It's the current direction of politics in this country to blame immigration and it's naive to think anything else than it being deliberately ambiguous.

In further news, there was a motion of no confidence in Hoey last night. It's rumoured she didn't get one vote in her favour. Deselection is on its way I think.

That would have been a sop to racists if he had said it. He didn't. The word "from" makes all the difference.

"Relying on cheap labour abroad" is a complaint about exploitative producers and importers undermining UK manufacturing, with the complicity of successive UK governments.

"Relying on cheap labour from abroad" would be a dog-whistle racist complaint about immigration.

You'd think a QC would be intelligent enough to know the difference.

The three main Jewish papers have United to call a Corbyn Labour government an existential threat to Jewish life in Britain.

This is why these arguments lose all credibility. There's no doubts nuggets of an issue in all this but it's all lost in Photoshopped images of probably the least racist man in Parliament who counts photographing manhole covers and making jam amongst his hobbies leading the Nuremberg rally.

Why does the Jewish community always have to go to defcon one? Black people are discriminated against, but don't accuse anyone who slags off the domestic and foreign policies of Barbados of being Mark Fuhrman.

Strike a line through half my post. But Hoey is still going. Hopefully.

Why does the Jewish community...isn’t that, you know, racist?

In 30 to 50 years from now, papers will be released which explain the true story behind this AS stuff and the orchestrated attempts to smear and undermine the Labour leadership. Until then, everybody in the media will keep pretending this is a good faith discussion from a group of concerned individuals who have the good of the Labour Party and the country at heart.

Its amazing how many times this trick can be attempted by the same characters without them being called out on it

It wasn’t at all ambiguous. He was clearly talking about imports, not immigrants.

You are in need of a good education.

You should give up all you currently do in life and head back to school. You've got to be one of the thickest individuals posting on any forum the world over.

Ok educate me. How is saying ‘The Jewish community’ different from saying ‘The Jews’? I’m genuinely intrigued and willing to learn,
