I stand corrected. Mbappe is miles ahead of Rashford and Sterling.

Sterling is brilliant with the ball at his feet. As soon as he has to give it someone else or do something constructive with it, it's a fucking lottery.

Other than Ibe, this is the best bit of business by Liverpool since Torres was sold.

Cristiano Ronaldo was pretty shit as a teenager. Basically had all the histrionics that he has now but without any of the goals. Just doing step overs on the half way line and falling over a lot. Was only in his early 20s when he went to the gym that he became the excellent player he is.

Ronaldo and Messi were phenomenal as teenagers. The latter got a hatrick in the Clasico as a teenager. Mbappe is nowhere near that level.

Yeah. The "gym". The same "gym" as Ben Johnson, Lance Armstrong, and other great athletes.

Our players are so overrated, Alli looks brilliant in the Prem but looks hopeless at international level. Our ball retention is risible considering the fawning over these guys and the money they are on.

The foreign players and managers usually do the thinking and the hard technical and tactical stuff. British players finish off the moves and look like geniuses.

The fact the man could go on to achieve what he did after the 98 world cup final just shows how good he was.

I dont think he ever recovered from whatever happened in the build up to that final (i still think Nike pretty much forced Brazil to select him and pushed him to play) then the knee injuries post world cup took what made him really special away. Yet he still went on to play and score for fun for the biggest clubs and still showed glimpses of what he was (the game against Utd springs to mind). The thyroid issue finally done him in.

We don't have a single great player.

Dontbe daft

They have a RB worth between £40-60ml

A back up keeper worth £30ml

A CB costing £50ml

A dwarf winger £50ml

Kane and Alli over 80ml each

They must be superstars
