They capitulated, but I think they've got a legitimate grievance when it comes to the officiating.

They were denied a pen, had a player sent off bizarrely, and the fifth goal should've seen the linesman flag for offside as soon as Vidal went towards the ball. No idea if Lewandowski was offside before the foul for his pen though, but he looked like he might have been marginally off.

They'd still have lost, but over two legs they didn't seem to get any luck, and they would've needed that to get close to Bayern.

They got shat on by the officials . I sympathise but the outcome of the tie was a forgone conclusion after the first leg so calling the ref "revolting" was stupid by Wenger., He is old enough to know better,  For the second year in a row they got bummed in Germany, fallen well short in the knockout stages yet again and they haven't had meaningful run at the title for 12 years. It's time now for him to stop sulking , man up and announce his departure at the end of the season, It genuinely is a shame to see him being slagged off and hounded out by the gobshites but he has stayed on one, probably two , seasons too long.

Time to bow out with some dignity and end the feeding frenzy

Whether wenger stays or goes or, who they replace him with, is of more than just passing interest to us.

He's hardly advancing arsenal now so if he stays, it gives the strong possibility that we could overtake them, at least on the pitch.

If he leaves and they replace him with, say, Allegri, he could come in and splash the cash like wenger never did making them once again streets ahead.

Not arsed what arsenal fans thinks, that's just a shitfest to enjoy as oppo fans rip into one another as they do when 'their' manager is on the edge.

Be nice to get and stay ahead of Arsenal whoever their manager is/will be.

Unlikely they will see anyone new before the end of the season. Bould as caretaker if Wenger really spits his dummy but I expect he will end the speculation soon and go out with dignity

It's Arsenal. Why should we give a fuck?

Fuck them and their cunt fans

Come on, fam. We're all in this together, blud.

Not really, Arsenal are where they deserve to be and hopefully their next manager will be more Bruce Rioch than Arsene Wenger.

They spent 96m last summer, bringing in very little.   Almost 200m net spend over the last three seasons.  If that's Wenger not splashing the cash, fuck knows how much you expect them to be spending.

Ah so we're back to absolutes are we? Over the years, wenger has not splashed the cash. In the last few years he's splashed some cash on ozul, sanchez and probably one or two others Im not aware of.

If you think arsenal are a spending club during wenger's time, good for you.

Well yea you could choose to use the years they paid off the Emirates with to fit in with what youre saying but that would be daft now wouldnt it?

If anything Wenger deserves praise for keeping them in the top four, whilst his best players were sold and he was given next to no money during that time.

You mean the years wenger said despite the building of the emirates he had money to spend but didnt want to? OK.

Actions speak louder than words. If Wenger told you the sky was falling would you believe it?

Simple fact of the matter is that now its been paid off they're spending and spending big so any notion that Wenger is holding them back there is false.

I'd have to agree with Grinch on this one. The last 3-4 seasons of spending should have more of an influence on their current squad than the whole 21 years he has been there. He finally started to splurge to try and challenge for the title, and it hasn't worked, yet.

Actually didn't realise just how much they had spent lately. 200m net to stand still...in a way Wengers lucky that myth about him not spending is so widespread.

I dislike arsenal as much as anyone else on here but I think Wenger deserves much more respect then he is getting at the moment, yes things aren't great for him at the moment but those absolute fools should remember that only for him they would be fuck all.

Correct Tom. Wasnt Bruce Rioch the manager immediately before Wenger? They seem to forget the style of football their club was noted for then started coming out with all this 'hooooof' shyte.

Yeah the Arsenal fans behaviour towards Wenger has been disgraceful. The amount of personal abuse he's getting is ridiculous. We never even gave Hodgson the amount of stick Wenger is getting from so-called Arsenal fans who are only pining for the success that Wenger himself gave them in the first place. Those morons have forgotten that Arsenal were going downhill rapidly before Wenger came. They were way behind United, Liverpool, and Newcastle and had finished mid-table on numerous occasions in the years before his arrival. Wenger transformed them within a year and gave them title successes and great football the idiotic and spoilt Arse fans could never even dream of. What an ungrateful shower that lot are.
