Yes. World class players are the best players in world. If you were to assemble Earth XVIII, these are the players who would be in the conversation.

 

Mignolets ability hasn't changed in that scenario, he just finds himself top of a poorer group of keepers.

That one is good but I prefer the one where you where convinced that Wijnaldum wasn't a centre mid and then he proceeded to play every single game for us at centre mid. Now that was REALLY hilarious. A fine laugh was had indeed.

Yeah and despite this many posters were able to predict that he would play CM for us before the season started because they knew he'd played many games there before for PSV and Holland. Probably because they actually know what they're talking about and you don't.

He may have had some games at CM, but it isn't his natural position, as he quite clearly stated himself. I would have preferred us signing a natural controlling midfielder instead.. again as I clearly stated back then. Perhaps we would've done better with a natural CM like Dahoud instead.. who knows? Do you think we could've done better than Wijnaldum?
