Brendan Rodgers - New Celtic Manager

Recommended Posts

No job is risk free but Celtic is a safer bet than most.

Looks like an easy job for him to me with no risk attached, from then little I know about Celtic the fans don't like the football they've been playing, they don't qualify for the cl anymore and get embarrassed in the el and they haven't been winning the league convincingly even with Rangers not in it.The team there is not great either with the manager going down the route of signing the best of the Scottish lads instead of taking risks on young foreigners.

If they have the best team Rodgers will win the league by improving the players and style of play, low expectations and no pressure in Europe will help him and I can see him doing well.Instead of having to prioritise the league he can rest players for the European games.

If he went to a midtable prem team and it didn't go well his chances of a top job are gone, after Celtic his cv won't be affected negatively unless he fucks up massively which I don't see happening.

Those making out its an easy job and getting the excuses in early in case he does well are obviously forgetting another one of our ex managers did not find it easy there.Celtic are as weak as they've been in a long time and it sounds like their fans know they need a big change.
