Or just make him goalkeeping coach. I don't know what goes on behind the walls at Melwood but Achterberg's record is scarily appalling. All our keepers have regressed under him. Even the likes of Jones and Bogdan, who were already pretty shit to begin with.

Genuine question, except maybe lumping in more high balls than you normally would, how exactly do you target an opposing goalie? I'm having trouble seeing how any of the six goals we have conceded the last two games have come as a result of him being targeted.

 

If it means that our confidence suffers and the opposition gets more confident, then I agree. Cause he really has been weak.

It's no use complaining about our keeper signings when for all we know, he'd turn Neuer into Brad Guzan. From what we can see, we've essentially been paying him to ruin every single one of our keepers.
