Bouremouth would have already been leading if not for Karius.  Whilst it would be nice if he was our main problem the reality of it is one injury had us fielding a pair of centre backs that wouldn't be fit for the reserve league.

I'm sure that at least two of their goals very very saveable. Opposition teams will always get shots at goal, the goalkeeper isn't there to stop the shots from happening, he's there to prevent them from reaching the net. Today has to be seen as a failure on the part of the goalkeeper for this.

Whilst perfect would be nice, I'd take competent at the moment. If he was competent, we wouldn't have conceded two out of those four goals. Karius is dogshit. I know you don't want him to to be, but he is.

He's not very good. Simple as that really. I've always been under the opinion that you should have an international goal keeper between your sticks. I know pepe reina was an exception. But that really should be the criteria.
