Plus sponsorship money and many other things.

Reward for failure - only happens in football and very few other professions.

In other news: Ben Tollitt, the Tranmere player who took the trouble to infom Karius during a 'friendly' that he was shit (it's okay, he didn't feature in any videos afterwards so he must be a great lad) is now plying his trade for AFC Fylde. Well done, Ben, you're shit, too.

In the end, he wasn’t good enough when it really mattered. But I’d ask that everyone who sends bile his way first pauses, and considers whether it might be better off directing their dislike towards Ruddock, Itandje, Diouf, etc. He did some dumb stuff after his bad game, but nothing despicable.

Seeing Karius disintegrate wasn't pleasant, goalie is a lonely place you fuck up they score, but I'm not sure he was up to it in the first place. On the other hand Jerzy was great when we first got him but he fell apart after that United game. There's no hiding place.

I agree. I can only remember Karius having 1 good game for us, Southampton away in a League Cup semi.

Obviously Kiev finished him but he made loads and loads of mistakes before then.

As I mentioned earlier, his kicked was awful. He never came for crosses. He rarely made any saves.

If I had been Simple Simon could accept being #2 behind Alisson. I’d have seen my arse at playing 2nd fiddle to Karius as well.
