He’s an absolute gobshite who shouldn’t have been anywhere near the club.  Klopp should have spotted what an absolute time wasting arrogant cunt he was and never put him in a position to fuck the club over in the way he did.  The only spell of “form” he ever had conveniently coincided with the specific moment we signed the greatest centre half footballs ever seen and he still managed to fuck that up.  If he somehow comes back to the club in the summer I’d pay up the rest of his contract so he doesn’t infect the club with his fucking shite.  We don’t owe this cunt anything other than the money in the contract we stupidly give him.

Jesus fucking wept.

I don't know where to start with this. Karius isnt good enough to be employed by our club. I will agree with that. The rest of that shite is fucking toxic.

Wonder what the thinking was behind signing Karius (obviously no thought) but the scouts ans Klopp must have saw some sort of of talent or potential there

When we signed him he was an up and coming Keeper at Klopp's old club Mainz 05. A few of us who follow the Bundesliga over here in Germany said at the time that it was probably not the best bit of business. He was just flavour of the month after having one decent season at Mainz 05 in 15/16 season and being voted the second best keeper by fans. He was actually a City player as a 17 year old but din't play for them at senior level before being loaned out and then sold to Mainz 05.

He had a superb one season,as you said and at around 4.5 million seemed to be a good deal for an up and coming keeper. Unfortunately, the club learned very quickly that this level of transfer is often a case of 'you get what you pay for' and we paid for a Championship keeper at best. It was also difficult to predict just how mentally weak he is regarding mistakes and even slight errors.

The move came to soon for the lad and he must have been under immense pressure to perform. Mistakes lead to a confidence issue and he seemed to be totally shot in that respect. I'm not sure his loan move to Beskitas will help him in that respect either, he should have gone back to a German club on loan and rebuilt his confidence in a land and leagues he knows.

He did have a decent run of form for us and was rightly ahead of Mignolet going into that Champions League final, but he's never going to get over a performance that bad in the highest profile game on the planet.

Either that or the lad playing for Tranmere who called him fucking shit to his face has really got under his skin.

Agreed. Klopp is to blame as well though, He persevered far too long with the lad when it was self evident he was a walking disaster. I hope he has learned the lesson that if you make a bad signing don't double down on the mistake just cut and run.

Klopp addressed other areas first and probably thought either one of our main keepers at the time would come good. We and himself were quite unlucky that neither of them turned their Anfield careers around. Mind you, if they had we wouldn't have Alisson.
