The talk about the stadium and allocation etc got me thinking. Anyone else reckon we should bid to host it now our ground is bigger? Reckon it would be great for the city too. Although we'd need to be quick as obviously Everton city council's new stadium would beat any bid of ours.

 

 

Nah it's too small, need to reduce capacity by about 20k to qualify.

Caught highlights of the 2007 semi-final against Chelsea and that year's final against Milan last night on BT Sports.

 

Completely forgot that Dirk had a goal disallowed in the semi and then hit the bar with a great header later on. Of course, he tucked away the penalty that counted with ease and then scored in the final. He really was the ultimate big game player.

 

Anyway, it's great to be eating from the top table again. Bring it on.
