Same as the Russia game, England dominated Wales, Rooney was taking the piss out of deadly Ledley and wee Joe but they were completely blunt despiite some shoddy defending from the Welsh.

 

Wales won't believe their luck they're leading here when only Ramsey can say he's played well, need to be better second half to hold on.

Have had a feeling that Wales would win this, but wasn't sure with the idea of Vardy and Sturridge maybe adding something. If Woy doesn't get one or both of them on early in the 2nd half though, I think Wales will do it.

 

Isn't it a no-brainer to get one of them on the pitch after the shit we've seen up to this point? I'm not talking about 70-75 mins or some shit either, he should be making changes for when they come out in the 2nd.

England need Sturridge one of the few English players who is a matchwinner and has belief.

Well, except for laying it on a plate for Sterling. Let's just pretend that didn't happen though so we can have a dig.

Utter shite from England. Rooney seems to think that being the midfield fulcrum means spreading 40 yards passes to the wings every single time. You don't need to spread play out wide every time, especially if the guy you are passing to has no passing options because everybody is on the other side of the pitch. Kane looks totally bereft of confidence and Sterling doesn't even look like a footballer - he has been dreadful. Alli and Lallana have not been terrible but they've not had any real impact on the game either.

 

Wales haven't actually done anything in the game, but Bale got a free kick and took his chance. Hart made a real mess of it.

 

The pitch is shit. It looks dry and seems to have been cut long so it's not conducive to flowing football played on the deck. Perhaps the fact that such a thing isn't something familiar to either side means it doesn't actually matter.
