He's be very gettable as a 5th choice forward.

Yeah, could be, versatile too. Liked the look of him when Everton signed him for peanuts from Charlton. Was surprised they let him walk.

I think he lacks some end product. But you can work on that and as 5th choice as long as he's got enthusiasm he can be a really useful wild card with that pace to upset defences.

His problem at Everton is they were expecting him to be a world beater and built him up as one. And you get the impression , a little like Brewster with us, he was a in a hurry to get playing and make a name for himself.

I wouldn't be upset if he was a like for like replacement for origi.

Agree we should get rid of both Origi and Shaqiri if there are any takers. But Origi is at least faster than most slow players.

Genuinely shocked by that. For somebody with pace he doesn't seem to ever want to use it.

Last Summer, if we'd have done this it would have been as welcome as an angry wasp in the bum hole, but right now it looks like it would have been a genius move.

it's probably been posted earlier, but Ben Godfrey would have been pretty good for us too considering the injuries and he can play right across the back 4. I know he was more expensive than Kostas, but there is the cost of things and the value of thing and it doesn't seem to really matter what Kostas cost, as he's brought zero value.

Not watched much of him this year but George Baldock looked good last year. Plays as a proper wingback for Sheff Utd. Depending on the fee, could be a useful back up for Trent. Isn't going to cry to start games, better than what we ha e a would fill a home grown slot

Berge and Anguissa are the profile of midfielder we could use, but I'm not sure they're good enough. Berge was injured for a while this season and is more potential than reliable performer thus far. Anguissa is an interesting player but there was a period this season where he wasn't favoured which is a red flag if you're starting on the bench for a bunch of games at Fulham.

Matheus Pereira is decent but who knows if we'd be interested in that kind of player.

The young centre back Fulham got from Man City looks good, so does their right back that missed the first half of the season. Overall though the 3 teams are shite and I probably wouldn't take a single player for nothing.

Watching the Bayern-Dortmund match the other day and they said Emre Can was the fastest player on the pitch.

He's a weird one - he was quick once he built up a head of steam. The turning speed of a tanker mind.

For Salah's breakaway goal against Arsenal in his first season, Emre outpaced everyone else in the team and would have been the first to any ricochet's

I like Trossard, I think he's got another level to go to and could reach it here, he'd absolutely walk into the squad currently with some of the detestable fuck wits that warm our bench.

He's got 9 goals in two seasons and Brighton aren't getting relegated, but good post, in full.

Depressing some of the names being mentioned here. We should have been competing for the elite names in world football right now.

We absolutely can it’s just that we’re hampered by *COVID/lack of champions league football/need to bring the wage bill down first/ need to sell a top player first/our own burgeoning sense of overwhelming cleverness/can’t block pathways*
