Now that Nuno has been confirmed I can see them lining up in 3-4-3 next season, or 3-4-1-2 to accommodate Dele Alli… something like below.

 

Lloris; Sanchez, Dier, Alderweireld; Doherty, Højbjerg, Lo Celso, Reguillon; Alli; Son, Kane’s replacement

 

Replace Kane properly and Dier with a good centre half then that’s a half-decent team. Alderweireld can easily play the Connor Coady role, as he’s a good passer of the ball.

Yep. All this stuff about Levy being a 'shrewd' operator is a load of bollocks. Just because when you sell a player you say this is the price and stick to it, doesnt make one shrewd. It's not like they have signed a load of gems for fuck all.

 

If Levy was shrewd, he'd wouldnt have sacked his best manager in nearly a generation. He'd have sold Kane for as much as he could get in the summer then give it all to a scouting team and manager to find 2 or 3 quality players to enable a team rebuild.

 

Nuno seems a decent guy who was the wrong appointment at the wrong club at the wrong time.

Agreed, bonkers really, they've sacked him after 17 games. This isn't a win now squad and will need a rebuild but then again that's the reason why Levy sacked Pochettino, they needed a rebuild after almost 5 years and Levy didn't want to spend. Let's not also forget the ongoing fractured relationship with their want away superstar striker. 

 

They're 8th at the moment which is about par for the course for them. What's Levy expecting? A title challenge?

 

They've no chance of landing Conte unless Levy lies and bullshits him.
