I didn't think I'd see the day where most fans wanted Allen to start a game and I'd disagree.Lallana and Milner are in good form and deserve to start imo, Henderson should be dropped and Milner should take his place in the middle.Allen is our best cm and should be starting every game but since he's clearly off Kloop might aswell keep Milner happy who's going to be a key player for the next 2-3 years.Origi should start up front aswell as his pace will scare Southampton chug should stop them pressing us as much.

 

This is a game I've been fearing out of our upcoming fixtures, a win could get us back in the race for fourth but my gut feeling is a draw or a loss.Hopefully I'm wrong but Southampton are very organised, in good form and have had a long time to prepare for this game while we played on Thursday.

Changed my mind a bit from earlier, the Firmino injury complicates the selection a bit as well. I'd still give Sturridge a miss, I actually think Benteke has looked a lot more positive in his last outings, we might need him for his set piece expertise too. Biggest questionmark for me is whether to go "safe" and include Allen in the MF three along with Henderson or play Origi (or even Ojo!) as I've done here
