Terrified we'll lose, excited that we might win.

 

Football, I love it.  Cup finals are what this club is all about.

 

Nerves are starting to kick in now, getting towards beer time I think.

 

Yup, actually looking forward to this & the games against the other lot, fucking Klopp with his cup runs and all.

Funny that either side of rodgers reign lies silverware. He doesnt need to win trophies to be a winner you see, playing moneyball monopoly funding experiments to see if balotelli and lambert up top with a huge dose of arrogance will win you the league, big wages and a nice payoff, will make you a winner.

 

If we lose, it's on you.

Just win. A flukey 1-0 will do. Think a lot of people are overconfident. We're really not that good.

Nor are City at present. It's a match between two sides that should be doing better.

 

If we're on it we'll cause them all sorts of problems but we need to be more clinical because we'll need to score more than one.

Think we're more than capable of going toe to toe with these. The 4-1 gives me confidence that we can beat them today.

 

But, the confidence comes with the caveat that we've just failed to turn up for too many games too many times.

 

The nerves are starting to kick in a bit now. Love being in cup finals, none of the "it's only the league cup" from me either. But, hate the nervous feeling too.

 

The joys of 11 blokes kicking a bag of air around on some grass, eh!
