Watford are being linked with a bloke called Isaac Success.

He plays for Granada, who are owned by the same family that own Watford and Italian side Udinese. A lot of players are moved between those clubs and there is more than a hint of dodgy dealing about it - basically TPO without TPO.

Been saying that for a while

Look at that youngster Watford signed in jan

Watford bought him from Udinesse and loaned him to Granada were ge already was on loan.

They pull some shite with Sinclair in the summer. Granada will sign him and losn him to Watford to get round a higher fee from a UK tribunal

klopp saying we ve loads of forwards but not enough wingers so expect some wide player purchases.

We are the only club that signs a load of wingers when we've no decent centre forwards, and a load of centre forwards when we've no decent wingers. Transfer committee y'all.

Kicker, who are reliable, say we and Dortmund are interested in Nordtveit. He's pretty average but he's versatile and free so it's fine either way.

Also, dave o’connell @daveockop

german football expert kristian sommer suggested yesterday an approach from jurgen klopp for leroy sane is likely. (express)

Pfft, this dweeb doesn't even know what playing on the front foot means. Go on, someone tell him, dweeb

It means you have a deformity of the legs where instead of having them side by side you have them one behind the other thus they have no left or right just front and back

Getting Nordtveit, Grujic and Matip for a combined £4m (after you factor in Grujic's loan fee) is such a Klopp move.

It's really very clever.  Get all the squad players and backups for cheap or from the academy, which hopefully will then leave us free to spend big on a forward, goalkeeper and maybe another CM.

Also, we can take advantage of the new TV deal by selling some of our existing squad players for big money to mid-table teams looking for "Premier-league proven" talent.  Get Nordtveit in for free and sell Joe Allen for £12m.  Get Matip in and sell Skrtel for £10m.  Even if those players aren't any better, it's still a huge plus overall as we then have £22m to add to whatever we were going to spend on a wide forward, for example.  And if they are even slightly better, it's brilliant all the way around.
