Former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers reveals all about secret sit-down with successor Jurgen Klopp

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/former-liverpool-boss-brendan-rodgers-7299404

The words secret & private don't seem to register with Brendan, as well as his projection on to Klopp of guilt by association in the signing of Benteke.

One specious cunt that.

Did Rodgers really compare Benteke with Lewandowski?

No, he compared there situation when they first moved to a big club.Lewandowski scored 8 goals in his first season and was given time, Benteke needs that also and fans are writing him off too early.

Also for those saying BR said those things to make himself look good he only mentioned he had met Klopp, he only said he brought him to his house when he was asked.

This isnt Benteke's first season in a big league though is it. He's played here a few years and just made a step up in the wuality of team he plays for. It would be the same had Lebandowski made the move from Schalke to Dortmund and not scored much in his first season after 2/3 in the Bundesliga

Moving from Schalke to Dortmund is like moving from Man United here.

Lewandowski was 21 when he moved to Dortmund. 8 goals for a 21 year old moving to a new league is pretty good.

Listening to BRodge on Monday Night Football talk about Swansea, Alan Curtis, Leon Britton, Ashley Williams etc... it's a wonder he ever left the club. He clearly has huge love and respect for the players and the staff there.

In the interview, Williams called him "gaffer" and everything. It was well cute.

No surprise then, that "Swansea" is what we've become?
