Is this the one being castigated for her faux-lesbian, male-titillating "kiss a girl" song?

Good.  I hate that type of wretched exploitation.

That other pop singer that Stronts loves did it, too.  Makes me puke and I'm glad the LGBT community have decided to find their voice about it.

Given that Rita Ora and Katy Perry have both had relationships with women in the past, there is nothing "faux" about it. I'm sure you're not arguing that women shouldn't write songs about previous relationships, so goodness knows what your point is.

I have no issue with it.

I would like to spend some time with her by the beach. A nice long walk. Chats about how we see the world together, puppies, love and companionship. Have a nice cup of tea and a scone.

Then finger her dirty brown shitpipe with my index finger.

It's ok Stronts, neither of them are:

A: Reading this

B: Will have sex with you for sticking up for them.

Not exploitative at all, then.

Empowering.

By the way, the lyrics to that candid biographical confessional...

"I kissed a girl, I hope my boyfriend doesn't mind."

Not exactly challenging the phallocentric status quo is it?  Its intention is to titillate teenage boys.  More Playboy than Plath.
