Daniel Sturridge - 2020

That has to be bullshit surely.

With the money PSG have kicking about you would think they would be able to spend that money much more wisely.

No doubting the guy has talent but based on how much we've had out of him in the last two seasons that would be ridiculous sum of money for him.

Perhaps he's after a transfer himself but I don't see any positives from us actively seeking to sell him whilst we don't have other prolific goalscorers at the club. You can't guarantee the new signings won't also be crocks, take Ings for example, and then FSG will likely turn his fee into shite quicker than you can say effete, unproven 20-year-olds.

If PSG are willing to pay the amount rumoured then we should take a leaf out of the Louis Suarez book and bite their fucking hands off, and their arms.

I have a feeling if played he'll put less effort in now, maybe we should just put him in a protective induced coma until a potential sale goes through.

Sell the cunt. Our scouts are top notch at finding pacey, prolific forwards.

Which is still better than having a crocked one who costs a fortune on wages and medical costs.

If he ceases to be available or be fit for duty or play the system, do it, start the auction.

Thankfully for us he's come back hitting the goals in at a top-class rate, so it helps us whatever we do. The rush to get rid of that without the fit, pacey, prolific replacement is the aspect I don't understand properly. Why am I arsed about his pay when the goals are coming? The proceeds won't be spent on footballers who play for free.
