Watch the 2nd goal again. On the halfway line moreno makes no attempt to win the ball and instead throws himself at the player. How many times has he lost his man in the box for the oppos to score? Once too many this season in my opinion.

 

For a defender, I think he's shocking.

 

Poor Skrtel gets credited (if that's the right word?) with so many og's because he tries to block everything. It was the same with Carragher. They both want to try and stop the goal at all costs but in doing so, there's a fair chance they'll get that little nick that deflects the ball.

 

I hate criticising our players especially ones who have only been here a short time. But fuck me, 32 million for benteke? 29 million for firmino? Do we ever fucking learn?

 

Those two looked totally disinterested in Newcastle. Benteke should have been subbed for that first half miss alone. He wasnt more than 2 yards out and not only missed but managed to get the ball on a trajectory that took it at an angle to fly over the crossbar and then some from that distance! Fuck me, no wonder villa nearly got relegated!

 

What pisses me off the most is that the press and deluded geordies think newcastle put in a great performance. They're deluded, we were that bad they didnt play any different to all their recent defeats.
