Fair enough on Coutinho. If his hamstring isn't 100% no need to force it. Hopefully we should have plenty of other players to give them more problems than they can handle.

I think we should win and win well, but I don't like this sort of confidence! We have a history of slipping up when we think we are going to steamroller them...

7-1 to us then!

This is the kind of game we normally lose. Everyone expects us to trounce them, their backs are up against the wall and they're in front of their own fans, it could be a really attritional hard fought game.

We need to try and score two goals really early, the atmosphere is really toxic in St James at the moment and they desperately want McClaren gone, so if we build up a lead they'll turn on their own team and the players will fold.

It could be a cricket score but surely nobody would be surprised if we lost. It's a big test to see how consistent we are and how much we can handle the pressure. Our best performances have been when we haven't actually been under that much pressure to win but the expectation today is very different.

As others have said, an early goal is key but I'd take a last minute own goal and 1-0 win today.

Expecting a really tough game they're at home they've been hammered the last few weeks and for the first time they can actually go out with no pressure on them.

Plus Mclaren as shite as he is hasn't got a bad record against us.

I agree plus its live on Sky .If this season has told us anything so far every game can go either way. I'm taking nothing for granted
