Apart from 1 season we’d been on our arse for the best part of a decade. It felt like we were in decline and unable to compete with super clubs and the super spenders. He came here regardless. People can talk up his lack of trophies compared to Mourinho and Guardiola all they like, he is the best manager in the world and for some fucking mental reason he decided to come here. I hope he feels it’s very much justified because he’s a fucking god to me now and inreckon to a lot of the fan base.
