Obviously that doesn’t change the fact he’s now in with Sturridge and Matip as the next wave of players to move on at the end of the season as they can’t be relied upon, but fucking hell, how difficult is it for them to spot a pattern and let players in this situation be fit enough to play regularly for their clubs for a few months before calling them up.

We bought him from a club callled Southampton,

Where he drank Gatorade and It tasted like Co-Codamol

Cococococodamol

He walked up to me and he asked for bandage,

With a voice sounding like a small Beckham,

I asked his name and he said,

LaLalalalalalanna

Bob Dylan is shitting himself.

What are we replacing? Our 7th choice central midfielder?

The only forward thinking substitute from our European cup final last season. I’m in agreement that he’s practically useless to us in his current state, we need someone to take the role he’s supposed to fill in the squad.

A fit Lallana isn’t good at stuff? Ok. We need somebody of his quality when he was at his best, a creative goal threat who can press the ball. Surely it’s not too difficult to understand where I’m coming from

I doubt very much if we will see that player again as his muscles appear to not be holding up to the running. If that is the case, there is not much he can offer. He can't become a holding midfielder, he can't become a goal poacher or a defender.

He is a running attack minded midfielder who cannot run anymore and I would imagine that is psychologically hard for him to deal with as a professional footballer.

Lallana may be doing a Coutinho just to avoid any risks at all. Don't forget he got that debilitating injury on England duty in the first place. Some people with short memories are talking all kinds of crap now forgetting Lallana before his injury was our best midfielder bar Coutinho.

You’d have to have a short memory to remember anything good Lallana did. How longs he been here 4 years now out of that he was good for half a season. Average as fuck player who needed to be sold years ago.

Doing a Coutinho means playing for national team while being unable to play for your club team while agitating for a move.
