My uncle moved over there and has developed some sort of Stockholm Syndrome. He's always posting right to bear arms bollocks and said after this recent debacle that guns aren't the problem as it still happens in the UK.

 

I set him straight and said there's been none since the 90s with Dunblane when we changed the rules around ownership, and that only hard core crooks could get hold of an assault rifle and that some random teenage mentalist couldn't walk into the shop and buy one.

 

Some female Elmer Fuddalike on his friends list just piped up and said: 'maybe, but y'all do got a lot of terrorism over there.'
