As part of my missus job she got an invite to a live webinar this evening with Sue Klebold the mother of Dylan (One of the Columbine shooters). I've joined it with her. Wow. Very moving. Most of it was about what behaviours to look for to prevent this kind if thing. Obviously she was very self-critical because she had zero inkling he was capable of anything like this (most parents would be the same) but has studied in depth the signs etc. She also went on about the 'other' victims of these shootings. Not just the dead or the injured but families, teachers, communities, first responders, medical workers. She said 6 firefighters in the local fire brigade committed suicide within 2 years of Columbine happening and that the fire chief had said not to seek outside mental health support, we will keep it all in house. She mentioned a young girl having spinal surgery the day of the shooting who was over from intensive care into a normal room because they needed the space for the shot students. That girl caught an infection and died. So powerful.

Haha. A few questions at the end and one guy has got a case with a schoolgirl who is transitioning to a fella and wants to be called Dylan. She's been obsessed with high school shootings and particularly columbine. She's also been getting bullied. He asked how to deal with it and she said she still to this day gets mail from all over saying they feel like they know Dylan, girls saying they eat his babies etc. Also she said she met a doctor from a juvenile detention centre said that the the news announced that the killers went after 'jocks' as revenge that the kids in the social area all started cheering.

If her advice wasn't to do a runner and never look back, she has failed him.

Dramatic video shows snow shoveling dispute that escalated to murder-suicide

Disturbing new video captured the dramatic clash between a man and his neighbors shoveling snow in Pennsylvania that escalated to a murder-suicide.

Surveillance footage showed the married couple yelling obscenities at the man before he grabs a gun and shoots them both in the middle of the street Monday morning in Plains Township.

“If you step out of here, I’ll knock your a– out,” the male neighbor could be heard saying to the shooter.

Police said Jeffrey Spaide, 47, shot dead his neighbors, James Goy, 50, and his wife, Lisa, 48, after arguing about each other shoveling snow onto each other’s property.

“I’ll make your life a living hell living here d–khead,” James could be heard shouting to which Spaide responds, “What?… F–k you, you f–king scum.”

 

 

James’ wife, who is carrying a shovel, then chimes in, “You’re the f–king scumbag. You don’t know how to talk to somebody.”

“That’s right… You’re a p—y, p—y, p—y,” her husband continued while flipping off the man.

Jeffrey Spaide is seen approaching his neighbors, James Goy, and his wife Lisa, before shooting both dead.

Footage then shows Spaide walking down his driveway towards them to which the female neighbor responds, “Go ahead. Go ahead.”

When it becomes clear that the man is holding a gun, James yells, “Put the gun down.”

The man fires several rounds, striking the male neighbor before shooting his wife.

Footage shows James running back towards his house, while his wife falls to the ground in the middle of the street, where Spaide fires at her twice again.

 

 

“Call the cops,” James shouts before the gunman chases and shoots him again.

His wife lying on the ground then cries out, “You f–ker, you!”

While others run over to help the couple, Spaide runs out with another, larger rifle.

“You should have kept your f–king mouth [shut],” Spaide could be heard saying before shooting the woman again.

Police said Spaide then went back inside his home and used a third rifle to kill himself.

Officials are investigating the gruesome episode as a murder-suicide.

The deadly confrontation came as Winter Storm Orlena tore through the East Coast, dumping as much as 30 inches of snow in some regions.

Yeah I got sent that too. There must have been previous between them though. No way that was a solitary incident.
