United v Liverpool - match thread

I think we will win this one and it will confuse our fans, as most are waiting for Brendan's inevitable exit and the start of a new chapter to begin, hopefully under someone like Klopp.

Brendan will go two up top. Firmino will have a good game. Origi will see his first action in a Liverpool shirt and get on the scoresheet after showing blistering pace.

2-1 to us.

If only we had a player to come out and stir it a bit with them cunts. Every time we play them,it's always something from their camp. Someone grow a Fucking pair and lob in a grenade to see the cunts start to spit venom.

I know what you mean but I'd much rather see it on the park than in the paper, let the cunts talk all they want and then put the fear of God into them with your first tackle.

Milner is harder than I thought he was. We all knew he was a good pro but he can leave his foot in a bit. I'd like to see Henderson add a bit of that to his game.

Can, Milner and Henderson in the middle if all fit. Firmino ahead and Benteke and Ings up top. Sakho in for Lovren and jobs a good 'un.

A hard fought 1-1 broken by a late Origi winner. 2-1.

Agreed but which one of our wonderful technicians would you back to do it

More bollocks in a dorothy perkins fitting room than our team

I think Milner & Benteke are capable of it although I certainly wouldn't put any money on it happening.

We've been needing a proper cunt in midfield since Mascherano left, I bore myself saying it these days, often sitting on the bus with people staring at me.

All true but the elephant in the room is fact that no cunt is scoring any goals for us. It's like Suarez went and we gave up on the job.

I think this will be a repeat of last season. United being completely shite but still managing to stick 3 or 4 past us. And this time we don't even have Sterling to cause them any problems like we did last season. And no Coutinho or Henderson. I really used to look forward to this fixture, we've had some epic wins and performances away to the mancs but this one I just want to get it over with and on to the next game.

It's a very good start to the season if we win there on Saturday. It's an acceptable start if we draw.

If, however, Lovern starts ahead of Sakho again, I would wonder if Brendan actually wants to retain his job.

Coutinho's a huge loss. Henderson isn't, though I wish he was.

I want to see little Danny Ings getting a start so that Benteke has some support.

                Mignolet

Clyne, Skrtel, Sakho, Gomez

                Lucas

                Milner

       Ibe              Firmino

       Benteke  Ings

With Sturridge, Coutinho, Henderson and I assume Lallana out, it shouldn't be too much of a variation on that.

I'm not sure Can lacks pace, as much as acceleration over the first few yards.

I think we'll go for something akin to 4-1-4-1 / 4-5-1 that hopefully looks more like we have three attacking players when we're on the break. It's the kind of game where one striker actually makes some sense as it'll be a war of attrition, like against Stoke.

                                    Mig

Clyne                Skrtel          Sakho              Gomez

                                  Lucas

Firmino          Can                   Milner           Moreno

                                  Benteke
