Don't expect this thread to be very popular, still a growing sport and going very much under the radar.

ITU Stockholm the weekend, no Brownlees due to injury

Seems like the top British women and Jorgeson swerving this one.

I'm yet to compete, me ego won't take losing at anything so I wouldn't go into one knowing I'm not going to come in the top places.

I'd love to have a crack at Iron man distance, but getting the hours to put in to train is a bit of a none starter at the moment with my work/social life.

No, I still train all three disciplines but I'm yet to compete.

Are you famous?

Guest Super Sub

I tried some of that M Cat last Wednesday and sat in Sefton park all night and watched the meteors. The meteors were great but that meow meow had me fucked for days. Does that count?

Edmonton this weekend preview below..

Gomez is just a machine, did a middle distance Tri last weekend by the sounds of it.

Vickey Holland and Non Stanford racing in the women's, I reckon Holland is in with a good shout of winning the women's none of the Yanks are bothering with this one.

I think Alan Sex lives in Edmonton...

There could be some bike seat sniffing....

And they're fucking soft holding it in September. Try January, we'll see how hard these triathletes are trying to swim the North Saskatchewan River and ride a bicycle through slush whilst dodging lunatic bus drivers....

Grand final this weekend in Chicargo, getting on the podium can mean instant qualification for the Rio Olympics for some and I know it's worth more points the better you place for this so should be a cracking race.

J.Brownlee will be racing but he's just coming back from injury so won't be 100%. Women's race will be intersting with the three Yanks back and our own Brit girls who are now getting back to full fitness racing.

Women's race has been brought foward due to weather both races should be live on BBC red button.

Best women's race I've seen that, all the Elite women taking part. Non Stanford and Vicky Holland had me going for a while thinking they were going to push Jorgenson till the end there but Jorgenson left it till the last lap before making her break.

Undefeated all season and in a class of her own, and now defended her World title. Non Stanford and Vicky Holland 2nd and 3rd brilliant beating the other two Yanks who have dominated all season and now qual for the Olympics.

Spanish lads different class.

I couldn't stay awake last night after T1 kept falling asleep, going to catch up with it again as it looked like an epic battle between Mola and Gomez.

I'm surprised Mola managed to beat Gomez as he's not really shown all year that he can mix it with the big 3, it must of just been his day as he had a really good swim which isn't like him either.
