I've no ill feeling towards the lad but he's not worth anywhere 100 grand a week. Genuinely think he club is run by idiots. The decision making at LFC is unreal.

To be fair, the wages they pay players across the whole league is a joke and in that, who do you blame and putting ability to one side -  The player who can earn that sort of wage, or an employer who is willing to pay it?

The employer. Lovren is mediocre and switches off that often he's near enough a liability. Can't blame lovren for accepting the best deal he could possibly ever hope to get. I just think our club uses this strange logic like the Carrol deal saying Torres is worth 15 million more so we will pay a fee for carrol based on what we get for torres. Lovren cheaper than buying a new improved replacement or not, a bumper payrise for a player who offers us no improvemnt who is actually a big flaw in our side is a waste unless we flog him but who would pay him those wages now unless he is sold cheaply.

Heard the Watford match commentator say that Klopp had justified his new contract by saying 'After the Dortmund game you would have paid him anything.' Surprise, surprise that a football commentator has taken a manager's remark completely out of context.
