In European competition since Klopp took over and brought in a few of his own players, our midfield has been immense, particularly in the bigger games. We generally just bully them off the pitch and it's often the platform for everything else. Man City, Roma, PSG, Milan, Porto, Bayern, Atletico. 

 

Gini. Milner. Hendo. Fabinho. Even pre-injury Ox was brilliant in the 2018 run.

I watched a documentary last night (Standing Firm - Football's Windrush Story) about the history of black players in post-war England and the racism they have had to face. There were plenty of inspiring examples of black players through the decades, but only one white player was mentioned by name.
