He obviously significantly missed the Chelsea game in 2014 and here we are with another massive one in a title race.

Wouldn’t have a problem with him playing in the more advanced role he did when he came on Friday, with Fabinho and Wijnaldum behind him. Worked well against Southampton and nobody else is making that spot their own.

Would feel like another Origi finally making the situation with Everton right moment this season, if he could pick up where he left off in 2014 against Chelsea.

Hendo did play really well the other night, (although not quite the second coming of Souness / Molby / Gerrard all rolled into 1 as some hysterical fannies would have us believe).

As that Murdoch twat Silverlining once Christened Hendo "Ready Salted", perhaps the captain's performance against Southampton was more deserving of a Spicey Chicken or even a Pickled Onion ?

It was Roast Beef Monster Munch, before they were taken over by Walkers.   Massive hunks of roast beef flavoured corn snacks, chewed up and spat out in the general direction of stringvest.

Liberally stuffed inside a buttered stottie. I can roll with that any time.

How is there still so much debate around him? He's clearly a valued member of the squad because he's a good presence and has some good qualities, while also having limitations. He's been the same player for like 5 years.

Yeah, it's not like he's newly shite or newly amazing. He goes and does the same thing pretty much week-in and week-out. 7/10 Hendo.

People could argue Lucas was going to be a great player before he injured his knee if they wanted to. Henderson has not significantly evolved or regressed in years.

It was definitely aimed at the fans.  I'm hoping he'll play again in a more advanced role, score another, moon the Kop, do a little poo in a paper cup and put it through stringvest's door.   This having a go at the fans thing has legs.

He wouldn't get through the gates.  The hounds would be released.

Anyway, he played well as a sub yesterday, don't spoil it with your shrieking.
