There were a couple of times he actually wriggled out of tight spaces with the ball, and caught by by total surprise.. like normally he doesn’t even attempt it.

Because he had absolutely no option there unless he just stopped and held his head in his hands, crying.  Which would not have surprised me.

Fair enough, to breakfasts he is Mark Lawrenson and to football he is Jamie Oliver.

I’d rather just discuss the football than the posters if I’m honest. I see very little value in trying to limit discussions. I didn’t think Hendo was that bad prior to the sending-off against Watford, you do.. well let’s discuss, rather than resort to name-calling.

Showing off your wealth when you're a visitor in a nation that currently has people needing foodbanks. Have a think.

Being able to afford a few breakfasts and trainers whilst living a non-flash life is hardly showing off his wealth. It means he works. There’s no shame in that.

Keita and Fabinho haven't exactly been pulling up any trees this season, and Shaqiri was gash when he came on.

Was it Gerrard's fault every time we got beat in Europe?

This whole captain thing is a load of bollocks these days anyway.

If Gerrard had a poor match and the team lost, it would have been his responsibility to take the flak. If he played well and lost, he would be within his rights to blast the players around him for letting him, the manager and the club/fans down.

If he saw his players weren't putting a shift in, he would often double HIS efforts to try and influence the players to put a shift in. If he didn't, how could he expect his team mates to?

As the Captain, the onus is on you to deliver your personal best and then expect others to do the same.

If Henderson is delivering his personal best, that's a whole other problem.

You get all that from the breakfasts that I post? You’re being very harsh I think mate. You clearly just don’t like me somehow. I am going to just put you on ignore for a bit.
