Bringing in Fabinho has helped him.. stops him being so deep, much better a little a higher up

Agree with this. Fabinho is one of them players who lets the others around him play. That said, I think Hendersons best form this season has coincided with Fabinho being out.

I love the way we now sing his name to a tune that's suitably heroic for his recent performances.

Have other clubs copied it yet?

Ready Salted, Horrenderson…. etc

It’s time to stop now. We are in a great position as a club, as a team and, finally, as a fan base. We have been at each other for so long, maybe we’ve forgotten that we are all ok the same side. It’s been a long time since people have had a pop at our Captain. It’s time to let it go and concentrate on the positives.

There's fuck all wrong with pointing out that silverlining is an absolute cunt.

Everyone knows he is a cunt.  Everyone knows Hendo has been boss - as a player and a Captain - for a long time. We should concentrate on celebrating; I have a feeling we are going to get a lot of practice in the coming years.

No - he got unjust abuse & criticism for years, I don’t think I will.

I’m going to show how wrong they were & how brilliant he is leading us to glory!

Yeah, I didn’t think so. You’ve never listened to any sort of logic or reason from anyone else, why start now. Have fun causing arguments.

I was the reasoned one that’s why.

I told you Hendo was boss.

To be honest Henderson has only really had people off his back for a year or so - before that the vast majority were angling for/expecting a Wij/Fabinho/Keita trio (I was certainly hoping for that when Keita joined!). I don’t think anyone is in any doubt that Wij/Henderson/Fabinho is undoubtedly the best 3 now though.

Henderson's career has taken a turn from decent pro but who shouldn't be guaranteed a spot in the 11 to borderline world class player. Most people lacked perspective when it came to him, especially those who said he should have the captaincy taken off him, but it was just as unreasonable to suggest he was always this great player. As with most opinions, the right one was the nuanced one.
