I was fully with you until the last line.

As for going to war with 'them', well, that's an issue. Bush tried it, and it has made the problem much worse. There is no real 'them'. There's just pockets of people with the media pushing forward a 'them'.

Is there not 50,00 of them, well armed and organised and controlling a couple of hundred thousand square kilometers of Iraq and Syria?

I agree with you regarding Bush, but unfortunately we can't turn back the clock on that imbecile's mistakes.

As with Al Qaeda, IS has in part become a concept and an ideology and it's very hard to crush an ideology.  There will always be lone wolf attacks.

The West could arm the Iraqi army better than they are doing but it's very hard because it seems to be the Iranian backed Shias doing all the dirty work thereby fueling resentment from the Sunnis and pushing them ever closer to ISIS.

I'd say the real enemy are the people responsible for the fact your council can't afford to keep your street lights on and the fact that, god forbid, if your nan ever goes to hospital she'll probably end up in a broom cupboard.

They are broadly speaking the same people responsible for ISIS.

What needs to be done is someone needs to evacuate the whole of Australia and resettle them in Europe and ship ISIS and all these other muslim extremists over there and build a Truman show style bubble around them so any nuclear weapons they manage to rustle up from snakeskin's and bits of old shrapnel will blow themselves up in the process.

Film it like a reality TV show so the rest of the world can just buzz off them as they continually try their hardest to destroy the rest of the world, it'll be like a Jihadi version of Home Improvements.

Yes, there were - although I'm not sure how many of them are left. They're being fought against though, aren't they.

Are you mad? There's enough of the drunken, back-packing bastards over here already

Stig should rejoin the navy and take the fight to them.

Nah mate my arse is battered.

Im against war but in this instance it truly is good vs evil and we should fuck them up good. Of course the ideology wont die but it has been there a long time. It just so happens they now have the balls and the funding to be bigger cunts. Squash them.

In order to squash ISIS we would need to do several things that are against the financial interests of the very wealthy. US and UK relations with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Israel would have to change significantly.

A shitstorm of proxy wars and various seemingly conflicting national interests stirred by rich cunts.

It would seem Turkey has a lot to answer for as well.

It took 12 years to find Bin Laden despite the fact it would seem he was at home the entire time.

How the fuck are we meant to go to war with this lot, we don't even know the name of their organisation, first it was ISIS, then ISIL, now it's ISIS again and wasn't it just IS at some point? I mean what chance to we stand if we don't even know what they are called.

They're like a double glazing company that goes bust only to re open under another name all the time. Only you know with guns and shit.

Turkey are just bright enough to know that they don't have to sacrifice their own to deal with the steaming pile of shite on their doorstep when there's a constant supply of trigger-happy rednecks from Uncle Sam who will be deployed sooner or later. Their problem is having to deal with a few million Syrian refugees, Nigel Farage should move there, he'd definitely get elected

The real victims here are the International Society on Infant Studies, how the fuck are they supposed to raise money now?
