  1. 1. Who do you want to cunt Cameron in the bastard?

    • Liz Kendall - she invented mintcake.
    • Andy Burnham - such sadness in those eyes
    • Yvette Cooper - uses her maiden name because she doesn't want to be called "I've ate balls"
    • Jeremy Corbyn - substitute geography teacher

Look at the list of articles on this page, the majority are decidedly negative towards Corbyn and he's not even won yet. Look at the Holocaust one ffs. Imagine the shit when he's confirmed as leader of the party. He's going the way of Dr Kelly, isn't he?

I hope the paper disappears down the toilet. Their smear campaign over the last month or so has been absolutely fucking disgusting.

This is in my view unfair. I'm a former member of the executive of Labour Friends of Israel, but I've taken part in lengthy discussions on Press TV several times, including putting the case for sanctions against Iran - to be fair they made no attempt to shut me up. And as a former MP who voted for the Iraq war (mistakenly, as I now realise), I was invited to and spoke to a rally of the Stop the War Coalition to put the case for it (and got a polite hearing).

It's important, in my view, to have discussions with people we disagree with, as otherwise we never get anywhere. (I applied the same policy to the far right - when I was asked by a group of BNP-supporting constituents to go and see them and discuss their concern, I went, and persuaded two of them to change their minds.)

It's perfectly legitimate to criticise Jeremy for anything he actually supports. But a willingness to have a civil discussion with people who have dubious views (which is very much is way of working) should not be confused with supporting them. Most of us have at some time said something we find a bit embarrassing, and that's hard enough. We can't be expected to take responsibility for anything that anyone we meet has ever said as well. That the Stop the War Coalition once said something a decade ago which could be interpreted as the author suggests is really stretching it.

Just watching newsnight, how come none of them are admitting that maybe the (Labour) public want/like Corbyns ideals and are not infact brain dead morons? She has just said she'll basically jib it if he wins the leadership because she doesn't agree with anything he would do while in the same sentence saying she doesn't want to split the party,it's fucking disgraceful behaviour from the lot of them.

Got the first bit of election guff in the post today, Tom Watson's deputy campaign. Was going to vote for him anyway, but he's getting backed by Dennis Skinner which has removed any doubt.

Didnt realise that so thats sealed if for me too.

I'm a bit worried that if I put Burnham as my second choice he might win based on amount of second choices,is that possible?

The constant criticism of Corbyn is very reminiscent of the Scottish independence referendum i.e.

"Don't vote for this it's bad!"

"Ok then what do you have to offer?"

"Erm... Well... things staying the same? Rich get richer and increase the disparity between them and the poor "

"Great you've really convinced me"

Corbyn should leave Labour and set up a new party. Call it what you like, I'd vote for him and any cabinet he puts together from grassroots.

Like Dennis says, he's on a hiding to nothing even if he wins a GE with Labour, the party will splinter and he'll be unable to get a fraction of the things done that he wants to.

Goes to show how fucked up the political system is when its cheque mate for any socialist ideas to be implemented.

I know this sounds sixth form, but I think the future for any socialist party lies with a retired billionaire with a good heart. Zuckerberg, Gates, dunno, but someone capable of reaching out and connecting young people through social media, getting them to sign up to a party, making it easy and quick and cheap, and then having the money to grease palms and oil cogs in order to get votes through on key issues.

The other option is to petition for electoral reform, but that won't happen. It won't happen because we live in a dystopian fucking dreamscape. The working class have been turned into the equivalent of cotton field 'niggers' from a century ago. We've been give the vote, but we've been given a choice between Tory or Tory. It makes you feel sick.

People are losing sight here, corbyn can win the next general election but thats not the end game because he then would be a lame duck in charge of a divided party a divided nation with the big sharks circling for blood the elites and security services bent on economic sabotage to teach us all finally to accept neo liberalism and prove socialism cant work by basically causing us to starve, financial markets will close to us and corbyn will end up not lasting his term or becoming hated ala syrizia the new neo liberal disciples.

The elites have plans a to z in place for this possibility.

Corbyns plans would be economically viable in theory but naive to think in practice vested interests with a lot more power will just accept him putting his plans in place, to the system hes not a threat.

Which is precisely why your proposition is even more ridiculous Dennis.
