Looks to be back at something approaching his better levels.

 

Just helps us so much with his press and workrate.

 

I'd give him a start at the cheats on Sunday - pressing them is something they don't like as teams rarely do it - he is ideal for rattling them with it and leading us at it.

He was very good tonight and has been much better in the last few games too. Seems to be playing naturally deeper and it's helping the team.

I think he's been decent most of the season. Obviously not the same level as a few years ago, but definitely better than last season.  He scored a few at the start of the season, then got injured.  He's been pretty good since he came back too.

Yeah, I generally prefer Firmino in big games, I think he makes us harder to beat. But there's so much competitiveness in the forward positions right now. Decision on who to play is not easy right now.

He's playing very well. Mane's had a great season too, but human nature being human nature, people who've written both off in the past are sometimes reluctant to fully acknowledge this.

Great to see ewe have 5 very capable forwards, that can swap in and out. Oh and Origi... When one has a dip in form, one of the others can take over. Great options to have.

Think he has been knocking quite a few in playing through the middle .

He's played quite well over the last few games - certainly he's stopped routinely losing the ball, and he seems to be running more freely.   It's still the exception rather than the norm at the moment.  Let's hope he can keep contributing positively.

Didn't see this one coming tbh although he has been mostly a sub recently and with Mo signing his new contact it sort of makes sense.
