Thank fuck.

Next season we desperately need to make sure that one injury won't have our champions League hopes hanging on a thread.    It was the same last year,  as soon so Salah went off,  we were beat.

This year's there's very few gaps to fill in the first XI,  so there'll be no excuse to still have no attacking threat worth mentioning on the bench.

I think our biggest transfer need has to be finding a player that could replace him adequately. Either that or another forward in the Salah or Mane style, but Firmino seems to be the one Klopp protects and values the most.

If you want ‘like for like’, Arnautovic would be suitable, considering he’s also naturally an AM, yet been successfully deployed as a forward for West Ham. Though I think he’s got his mind set on moving to China.

This is a worse idea than anything on the trainees thread.

Lazy bastard. No chance Klopp would allow a player like that in the team.

There isn't a player in world football who can do the things Bobby does.

There are but they are rare and quite valuable. Benzema, Griezmann, Joao Felix and Dybala are the best ones. Diogo Jota comes to mind as someone who could replicate a part of what he does. Whabi Khazri and Fekir are others. I'm sure Klopp could find someone who has the right qualities he could convert as well I'm not thinking of.

Those are players who can provide the offensive part of what he does. None of them are close to the total package.

He is one of the best tacklers in the game tracking back and a big part of our set piece defense.

Rotation option. Obviously we won't find an exact clone, just someone who can play in the same area and shares some of his qualities.
