Thought he got away with murder for the first 6 months, last season, but he has started red hot this year.

He's in the middle of totally revolutionizing the way everyone thinks of a 9. His stamina, his tackling ability, his selflessness, his creativity, his restlessness, his discipline; his ability to make the best team in the world today play, while banging in 20 goals a season, has no historical analogue, in my view.

Fair play to the pissed up cunt.

The difference to our forward line was plain to see once Bobby came on last night. He is also tireless in his work, I know he loses the ball in MF now and again but he's back their battling in an attempt to start a quick attack. Some of the defence splitting passes he plays in is another added bonus. He can do it from outside the box or even in the box due to his clever vision and reading of where players are around him.

Klopp accepted in the post match presser that playing Ox on the left was the wrong decision, and blamed himself for making it.

Fair does, I hope he also realise that Gomez is not a full back at this stage of his career and should only be played as a CB.

I can see Bobby staying here for most of his career. He's not an obvious star player like Salah and Mane, he doesn't grab many headlines. He is however pivotal to the way we play and he loves it here after a slowish start to his Liverpool career. His touch is fucking sublime, you could drop a brick from a jet and he'd control on the fly, with the bricks force submitting to his elegance.

Cause we are one of the biggest clubs?

Yeah, but I mean Barcelona and Real Madrid. When those clubs come in for a player, it's often impossible to convince a player to stay no matter what club he's at already.

And we were only a borderline Champions League club not too long ago.

I see your point.

For me the reasons we’re able to keep hold of Bobby are:

- Our improved results

- Our increased financial power (goes for the PL in general, and the topp teams in particular)

- Klopp and the team spirit he’s created

- Klopp and his ability to develop players

- We are Liverpool

He's the perfect modern striker to put alongside these goal-scoring wide forwards we see dominating the game now. I'm happy they haven't but I have no clue why the biggest clubs haven't tried harder to take him off us.

We are the biggest club in the world just look at scenes in Madrid and the city centre on day of parade and try tell me otherwise.
