Obviously he’s class, but he can’t play 50 games a season, and we’ve had a look at Solanke and Ings now but both are a huge drop off.

Any ideas about a possible understudy to Bobby?

Anyone tempted by Arnautovic?

Arnautovic wasn't even interested after his move to West Ham and only started playing once he'd been given the forward number one role. We also need a hard worker and Arnautovic and hard work are distant cousins.

He is so crucial to how we play - the way he works and defends from the front winning the ball high up and then linking our attacking play with intelligent play and movement...and he has become more prolific in terms of scoring as well.

Think next season we will see him at his peak.

Take him out and the other two of the front 3 suffer and we as a team are a much less threatening outfit.

The goal he scored against city is the perfect example of this

Puts pressure on Walker.

Walker panics.

Bobby takes advantage of the situation and steals the ball.

Runs into their box without much resistance because their defence aren't expecting to lose the ball so they're upfield out of position.

Then he takes care of business and slots it in for the winner.

It was Otamendi not Walker.

The good thing about having a proper number 9 in the side would be he'd be closest to congratulate Bobby on this goal.

So -- winning!

Neil Ashton in 2015 writing for the fail.

The committee have yet to explain how they came up with the figure of £29million to sign Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino from Hoffenheim, who finished eighth in the Bundesliga last season.

And no he didn’t think it was value for money - what price now (not that any bid should be encouraged!)

Klopp has transformed Firmino. He didn't look half the player under Rodgers.

The fee was something like £21-22m, with add-ons taking it up to around £29m.
