I was made up when we signed him. Having said that, he is no better than Maxi Rodriguez who was sorely missed since we inexplicably -moneybollocks- sold him.

 

Firmino is a younger and expensive version of Maxi. He would thrive next to Suarez.

Unbelievable that people think that. He's anything but a shithouse. Statistically, he's an incredibly good tackler for an attacking player and has a great workrate. He does a huge amount of donkey work, and as we've seen in recent games, it doesn't stop him from scoring goals and assisting either. He's a complete footballer.

He's recent stats are tremendous, especially from the games were he's played centre forward, but I still expect him to be a bigger part of our play. I don't think he's involved in pressing and closing down in the same way as Millner, and he's not linking up like Lallana. Plus he can't shoot for God's sake! Apart from those random blasts he's too easy on the ball. If he improved on all this I'm sure he would reach the same heights as Suarez.
