Makes sense however if the DUP genuinely believe that the government is about to sell them down the river then even the alternative of a pro-Republican Corbyn might be  the better option. Why? Because the most likely outcome with a Labour government is that the whole of the UK leaves the EU but remains in the customs union which would be more palatable to the DUP than effectively aligning NI with the Republic. They view this as the first step towards reunification.

Makes sense, I just think the prospect of the first republican pm makes them shit themselves

They can face the DUP down if it comes to the crunch and dare them to bring down the government, What are they going to do ?

They would be out with the fucking washing if Labour get in. All more posturing from the headbanging lunatics that are overplaying their hand.

Face the DUP down just like they where gonna do with the EU? yeah right....  The Tory's don't wont another election even more so than the DUP.  You really think they wanna go into a snap general election in the new year with May still in charge?  Not a chance.

And if the Labour party where to get in, the chances are the whole on the UK would most likely stay in the CU/SM.  Think that would appeal more to the DUP than what was offered today.

I think we will end up with another election.

Meh I'm fed up with elections/referendums, especially one in the middle of bloody winter.

Don't think alot of young people would fancy going out to vote on a cold winters day either, the 55+ age group will have no issues though..

Wonder which party would that help more..

Depends if there’s ice. Would be ironic if they all needed hip replacement surgery after voting to destroy the NHS

At the very earliest it would be spring/summer 2018.

I'd imagine it would be the other way round.  All the Brenda from Bristol cunts would stay at home, apathetic and oblivious.  Younger people voted in numbers in June because they genuinely felt they had something worth voting for.  A wee bit of rain won't deter them.

I can't stand her and i hate the Tories but a very smaall part of me feels sorry for May. On an absolute hiding to nothing.

I wouldn't worry I'm sure her tax evading enabling husband will keep her speciality jam cupboard well stocked.

I wonder how that phone call went?

TM: Hello Arlene, I hope all is well, I just need to as-

AF: NO SURENDER!

TM: Ah, oh perhap-

Ignoring that she wrapped herself in the flag, clearly sided with the hard right in her party when she first became PM and then proceeded to define ludicrous undeliverable Brexit red lines she's now had to abandon. For that matter putting her own political ambition above the countries interest by triggering Article 50 and then announcing a self-serving general election which resulted in a destabilised government in the pocket's of the DUP before then proceeding to find at least a £1 billion bribe for the DUP on that magic money tree whilst nurses visit food banks to feed their families.

Apart from all that she deserves our sympathy.
