The joys of capitalism and the perils of supporting a capitalist organisation chapter 248....

As Greece burns to the ground and our sky's fill with smoke the International monetary fund and the European Commission can slap each over on the back for playing yet another fucking blinder....

Far too little far to late. The austerity measures on Greeces inferstructure rendered Greece with little to no defence against wildfires. The EU were warned in 2018 and the years before.. they simply answered with more austerity... Italy is going the same way, ie they're getting fucked right off...

"The reforms are a clear attempt to break the power of the trade unions'  sounds just a rehash of the old thatcherite bullshit of the previous bailout, 10 hour days, no overtime, no pay for time off etc..

You know the drill: anything good is just incidental; anything bad that happens anywhere in Europe is 100% the fault of the EU.

Not really, I give our government a good kicking on the regular. Both organisations are steeped in capitalism with no real regard for trade unions, as this new EU/Greek policy shows.

It's a Greek policy. OK your squeeze Ursula gave it the thumbs up, but the EU also gave the thumbs up to Portugal's anti-austerity policies a few years ago. It would be as wrong to give the EU the credit for that as it is to blame them for this Greek shit.

It certainly is, I wonder who ousted the only socialist government in Europe, so paving the way for more austerity?

Don't worry. We're all getting inflation busting pay rises to pay for it

Gah, spent mine on some 'ye olde British' courgettes. Well, I will. As soon as they can find someone to pick them from the fields they're currently rotting in.

Angry seems to want the inflation rate to be wherever it lands if all them low paid workers gave back their pay rises. He's already stated he believes bosses couldn't afford those rises, which is obviously ridiculous, Taylor Wimpy reported hugh profits this week. That's why he thinks your question is stupid.

You're either a liar or you're as dense as a Boxing Day turd.
