Not of The Times. The NCA report was quite widely covered.

I was simply taking the piss out of his spelling of obtain. I've seen the NCA report too. The funny thing is, when I mentioned the important factors in modern slavery, not having been mentioned by Gnasher before, he gave some garbled, chin-dribbling response about how it was obvious. Well, yes, it is obvious. He just neglected to mention them himself, instead harping on about 'freedom of movement' as the cause whilst ignoring my link saying how Brexit is going to make it worse for slaves.

I suspect the truth is this: Gnasher doesn't give a flying fuck about slaves or modern slavery any more than Rico cared deeply about Jews when slamming Corbyn. He cares about sticking it to the EU. In short, he's an absolute prick and I feel that you treating his arguments - and by arguments, I mean contextless links that he hasn't read - as if they are credible probably does more harm than good. I'd let him sit and gnaw on his coffee table. That's just me, though.

Something else he doesn't mention is that the most common origin of modern slavery victims in this country - and I suspect this is why he chose to link something behind a paywall rather than the other articles - are from outside of the EU, from Albania, Vietnam, and Nigeria. So if freedom of movement is to blame, how the fuck are these the top incoming? How the fuck is leaving the EU going to HELP people from Vietnam and Nigeria? How is allowing the fucking Tories, backed by big money and big business, to make the laws that impact big money and big business going to help victims of modern slavery. Only if you don't give a fuck about these people do you make these kind of arguments. Yes there are modern slavery victims from Romania and Poland too, but to point to only them whilst neglecting the others just so you can lay a glove on 'freedom of movement' is pretty grim.

What's pretty fucking grim is a zit faced little cunt like you blerting on and on and on over the internet. A spawn who spends almost every waking hour on this fucking forum. It's as if a cunt from Rampton has been privaliged a laptop. Havnt you got anyone or anything else to spend a little of your not so precious time on? If you have dont you think they may feel somewhat fucking neglected? Although reading the continuous amount of shit you write its probably wide if you're expose to anyone in the actual human race is limited. Have you tried therapy? Have you tried angel dust? Have you tried anything that does not involve a pixies or pixels?

As for your post about me only talking about the eu on the eu thread it's so ridiculous it's not worthy of comment.

How old are you?

I'm sure you said you voted for Michael Foot so that must put you at least in your late 50s or early 60s right?

It's amazing that a near pensioner can still sound so childish and has picked up the ability to be an internet troll with such ease.

I don't know anyone who voted Leave on the basis of being told (by the lie bus) that it was the best way to protect the NHS.

If anyone did, I wonder what they make of the sight of the Tories putting it on the table for trade talks with the US.

Shame we don’t have anyone pro-brexit, pro-Attlee to give their view on it.

Correct. Although I note the defenders of neo con eu seem to want to pick and choose which topics they feel worthy of comment. Below are a few no no off the top of my head.

The overthrow of the one socialist government in Europe warranted little comment. A cynic might link eu involvement in the greek government's demise as a reason.

The eu policy of free movement aiding an already virile slave trade is also  definite no no on this forum

On a similar subject criticism of poor Romanian workers being flown into Britain in the middle of a pandemic was met with general silence.

The yellow vest movement in Paris against tax rises for the poor was also largely ignored.

A report stating eu immigration hurts the poorest in society was generally scorned upon.

The eu response to Spanish police beating old age pensioners voting in Catalonia also warranted little comment.  Hmmm.

The eu model involving expansion into the baltics is another topic pushed into the bottom of the filling cabinet. Cant understand why, with Hungary etc going so well.

The largely poor eu response to covid also received little comment and even less criticism.

Make of it what you will.

What TTIP trade deal? The one that won't get through the EU parliament but the one your fellow Tory brexiteers are about to sign us up to here, without parliamentary scrutiny?

That one?

You were doing ok there until "your fellow tory brexiteers" comment sent your post into hyperbole.

Well, it is your fellow Tory Brexiteers that have voted down scrutiny of trade deals. I'm not sure how it's hyperbole when the vote happened yesterday.

How much of this thread has been wasted by you arguing against stuff that nobody here is arguing for?

Apathy rules angry, speak no evil. I could argue that the person who pretends he does not see is as culpable as most and all that. The silence from most on the above topics tells it's own story, it's like the banksy painting of the cleaner brushing the dirt discreetly under the carpet. Thout shall not spell eu criticism seems the mantra, it's like some weird sect, a moonie tea party with added bad language. A little interweeb world where the employers of 3 quid an hour asparagus pickers receive a blank cheque. All is well,  all is well we cry, unless you are poor, or young, or unemployed then all in the eu aint really that well but ha why moan? Things could be worse so let's accept the shit we've got and fucking button it.

You did read that, right?

Because, even a cursory glance shows that it says membership reduces inequality and there is a trend of this reducing over time.

External's are at a higher risk, so surely this is the exact opposite of your point(s) as the EU protects it's members from exploitation?

Try a little closer to home and what the Tories rammed through last night, whilst free from EU involvement, that's where the real problems begin and end.
