Although in the topic of BooHoo it’s offices are on Back China Street in Manchester, the street that was used to double up for NEw York in one of the Marvel films.  Anyway, there must be over a couple of million in cars parked outside at any one time.  A mate of mine works for PayPal and visits them, she said the owners office (staffed by model/secretaries) is bigger than her house.

These?

Bunch of cunts, taking advantage of the eu  freedom of movement to treat workers (mainly overseas) as no better than slaves.

It shines a light on the modern day slavery happening throughout Britain and europe which is aided by eu policy.  Uncomfortable but true, no good ignoring it these people need to be outed and stopped and the exploitation that goes hand in hand with large pools of low paid workers being abused rejected.

Once more for those at the back who weren't listening:

You don't improve workers' rights by taking rights away from workers.

You don't protect vulnerable migrant workers by making migrant work illegal: that only hands power to the slavers.

You don't earn your Socialist stripes by parrotting xenophobic Tory policies.

Really.

Fuck yourself to death.

Ago wrong phrase to use and I apologise.

The point I was trying to make is by ignoring the case of boonoo or whatever these cunts are called and brushing under the carpet the issue of modern day slavery and the eu's role in its arbitration is going to cause huge divisions in the near future. The whole free movement of peoples imo needs to be looked at or fucked off completely. You cant have multi billionaires flying people into britain to pay them 3 quid an hour.

I once again apologise for the crass comment earlier.

Worse.

Imagine not voting but buying into the anti-immigrant, racist cuntfuckery after the event.

If that's directed at me I'm not anti immigrant at all. I fail to see why workers from further overseas should be at a disadvantage to European workers. I also see the pitfalls that the movement of cheap eu labour creates throughout Europe.

Free movement of labour sounds great but below is the reality and for the poor its poor

Modern day slavery has been aided by the eu free movement policy

People who know about modern slavery know that this is the opposite of the truth.

Restricting the rights of migrant workers makes them more vulnerable to exploitation.

It's mind-boggling how blinkered and bigoted a person would have to be to convince themselves that you defend workers' rights by taking rights away from workers.

Angry you really are putting your head in the sand. What rights do you think the people in these hell holes have to take away? Seriously, wake up, people are being flown into britain and are treated as slaves. The eu policy on free movement makes this possible. . It's not an opinion it's a fact

Nobody is ignoring Boohoo or any other exploitative cunts. Boohoo are getting prosecuted because they violated the (few remaining) legal rights their workers have.

Brexit was a vote to take rights away from workers.  That's just a bald statement of fact; if you want to continue to support Brexit, you need to find a logically consistent way to reconcile that with your pro-worker principles.

And if you could get out of the habit of throwing wild and baseless accusations at people who disagree with you, that'd be just dandy.

It seems modern day slaves do not deserve the sympathy of the slaves of a few hundred years ago.

Can't be doing with Murdoch's paywall. Could you please copy and paste the bits of the article in which the NCA bloke explains the role of the EU.

I Googled that NCA story. Several outlets covered it, but only the Times and the Express mentioned the EU.

It's quite simple  Its modern day slavery, its happening throughout europe and free movement has gave exploitative billionaires the perfect opportunity to enslave Europes poorest people.

It's been going on for years and most people know it. If you dont understand or want to believe then that's a decision for you and your conscience, but I think the issue will become more prevalent very soon.. I'll leave it there

This is true. Nobody denies that.

its happening throughout europe

This is also true. It's more prevalent in the non-EU countries of Europe, but it's disgustingly widespread throughout the EU and the UK too.

This bit appears to be just your opinion. You've stated it repeatedly, but you haven't put up any reasoned arguments.

At least we agree on this last bit. As more and more migrants lose the right to work in the UK, the greater power the exploiters will have over them.

I'll leave it there
