@Strontium Dog™ - You are a remainer, would you consider voting Labour in a G.E to help remain?

Hypothetically, but we're talking about a party whose MPs just voted the WA through, and whose official position is to negotiate its own Brexit deal, so it's a hell of a hypothetical.

Exactly. The only thing that stops all this shite, right now, is revoking Article 50.

It's been obvious since this debacle started that the best option available is to stay in the EU and reforming it from within by having a voice. The wankers who wanted a 'No Deal' are happy to accept this new Deal which is Brexit in name only and without a voice in matters which will affect them, the mind boggles.

If it meant remaining I meant.

All the forecasts for Brexit show increased hardship for the most vulnerable people, including increased numbers of deaths which would otherwise be preventable.  When you, a comfortable and smug keyboard-revolutionary, shrug their suffering off as "people get hit and hurt" I have to tell you to go fuck yourself.

I apologise for that comment it was not intended to come out and sound that way. My point is we are now at a time of record homeless, food banks, mass inequality and a political state both here and in Europe that crushes increased spending on infrastructure and direct spending on the most needy.

The past 30 years of European inequality can not be allowed to continue.

Shame on the cunts who voted yes to the bill when it's worse than the May deal

I agree IK , but I suspect there will have been tactics with some Labour 'rebels' voting for the deal to be able to say to their constituents that they voted for Brexit , but changing their vote on the second one knowing Johnson had already said he will withdraw it if that one lost.

List of the 19 Labour MPs who voted with the government below. As Sir Rog says, they’re all in leave voting seats.

Caroline Flint the only MP who voted with the government on the second vote who isn’t standing down at the next election. She has to be deselected, the fucking knobhead.

@mojos55: Jacob Rees-Mogg’s Company Accounts show c£103M profit over last 5 years, but paid ZERO UK corporation tax as ultimate ownership in Cayman Islands. No contribution for schools, hospitals, roads, defence, public services, welfare etc. No wonder he is keen to avoid new EU tax laws.

They need that on a flag behind the BBC platform outside parliament.

A few more significant votes on the second vote tonight.

Ronnie Campbell, Rosie Cooper, Derek Twigg, Chris Williamson and Rosie Winterton abstained.

Ian Austin, Ivan Lewis, Frank Field and John Woodcock confirming they are a bunch of Tories by voting with the government.

@DerbyChrisW: I have been 'paired' this week so won't be voting in any of the #Brexit votes.

The queen's speach is a confidence matter isn't it? When it's failed to pass historically, the PM has gone to the monarch and resigned? Could be the next stage of the game.

He doesn't have to resign even if he loses the vote. Only a vote of no confidence can get him out or two thirds vote for an election.

By the time he's talked about the queen's speach for 2 days, the EU will have probably granted the extension, I'm guessing by then everyone will want an election. Certainly by the time the house returns next week.
