It won't be Labour as a party that would do that, but a select few self-serving idiots defying the party whip. So you couldn't justify punishing the majority for a few bad apples. Any Labour MP who does defy the whip should have the whip removed and or be deselected.

You make a good point, although it might well take me some time to consider trusting them as a party.

It's going to go through, I reckon. The noises from the likes of Junker, Varadkar and Macron suggest that they've had enough now and want closure. And, therefore, there's a strong chance that they may veto any extension request.

They are bluffing obviously. They are just adding fuel to the fire in an effort to push it over the line. The EU are not going to be responsible for us crashing out.

Most of Brexit has just been peddling bullshit to fear people into voting for a deal and trying to conceal the truth.

That being said, I suspect this deal is going to get over the line. We're then going to have a Boris led Tory party for the forseeable while we watch it dismantle workers rights and the NHS.

If its a draw its apparently Bercow who will cast the final vote. Previously the standard is for the speak to say No. I'd fucking love him to stand up loud and proud and shout Noooooooooooooooooo dead loud at the tory bastards then run down and start head butting Rees-Mogg all over the shop

The Tories will come out of all this completely unscathed in the long run won't they. Fucking liquid T2 multi headed hydra of venomous shit and piss that they are. I read so many guardian comments and so many people blaming all this on Corbyn hardly mentiong the conservatives forgetting  this entire shitfest is down to the Tory party the shifting of blame totally lets the fuckers off the hook. They were complete bastards before Cameron even mentioned a referendum and have been a disgrace every day since. Boris Johnson is the leader of the country for fuck sake! He's an arrogant proud to be a toff, believes he's elite bullingdon burst sheep cunt.

Ahhh better.

If this deal is voted through then I can't see the transition period going smoothly or indeed ending in Dec 2020. I believe it can be extended by anything up to 2 years, so expect Brexit to dominate things for some time yet.

This is how the ERG have been bought off. There is a suspicion (see David Gauke and his reasons for voting for Letwin’s amendment) that the government have no intention of negotiating a free trade agreement and will happily crash out in 2020 on WTO rules, which is effectively no deal.
