Senior Reporter at Sunday Times:

@RosamundUrwin: What's different about the new Yellowhammer document that the government has just published compared with the one I got hold of last month? The heading.
What did the version I had say? BASE SCENARIO
Now what does the new one say? HMG Reasonable Worst Case Planning Assumptions

Clearer version here.

I've been told that it's actually this:

“There will be significant loss of human life in our constituencies, but our own investments against the pound, and avoidance of the EU tax evasion laws, will make us rich beyond our wildest dreams.”

It can't be anyone that abstained on that welfare bill and/or has spent the last three years doing their utmost to ensure there isn't a socialist government.

Or hundreds of thousands of members will clear off and the chances of winning the next election will be nil.

The Labour MPs who defied Harriet Harman and voted against the whip to vote against the welfare bill.

Diane Abbot it is then.

The leaver reaction to Yellowhammer appears to be that it's just project fear again and these are just worst case scenarios.

It's somewhat strange that leave voters have largely, up until tonight, been ranting about how shite and useless politicians are. But, after the Yellowhammer release, they suddenly view our politicians as now models of competence who will obviously prevent these worst case scenarios from happening.

Can't believe people are surprised by this shorting thing. When the banks were on the verge of collapse the head of the federal reserve got all the big bosses in a room and basically said they all had to work together to stop the economy collapsing and he reckoned people were making excuses to leave the room so they  could make phone calls to try and make money out of it.

This kind of greed is good shit attracts high functioning psychopaths.  They're in the boardroom and in the cabinet office, and they simply don't care whether you live of die.

It is a state of emergency.

it’s Corbyn, btw, that is withholding a democratic election, not Johnson.

Well no it isn't. There are rules for a State of Emergency and as yet they haven't been met.

Johnson wants an election to prorogue Parliament again. Corbyn thankfully isn't that stupid.
