She's not going to step down though, at least not until MV3 is rejected. And they can't get rid of her.

Edit: Part of me feels sorry for her - she's setting herself up to be the worst PM ever.

Edit2: Actually no, fuck her.

It's a shame Corbyn wasted the one no confidence motion he had at an inopportune moment. A week from now would've been the perfect hand to play.

Conservatives wouldn't support it. They'd much rather wait for her resignation next week.

No, of course he doesn't want Brexit, he's just behaving in exactly the same way as someone who does.

If you've got nothing better to say, go away and find something - a speech, an interview, a petition, an EDM... anything - from the last 40 years or so in which Corbyn unequivocally says "the UK should leave the EU".

Meanwhile, be a poppet and please let the rest of us crack on with discussing what's happening in the real world.

I'm no expert, I believe if she lost a no confidence vote then the opposition could form a government. If she calls a general election herself then parliament is dissolved and we crash out while they're not sitting. I think she may do this.

I think it needs 2 thirds to dissolve parliament and call an election.

A NC vote doesn't immediately change anything . From memory Parliament vote again in a couple of weeks and only then does the opposition get to form a  government but in reality an election ensues.

He's on video from 2009 calling for Ireland to vote no in the referendum on the Lisbon Treaty and referring to the EU as a 21st century European empire. Excuse me if I'm not credulous to believe he's done a complete 180 in under a decade.

So... Not calling for anyone to leave the EU, then?

Don't pretend you're as thick as Gnasher.  You know that there's a difference between saying "The neoliberal drift of the EU should be resisted and reversed" and saying "the UK should leave the EU".  And you also know which one of those Corbyn has been saying consistently for decades.  Unfortunately, you also know that "Corbyn is a closet Brexiteer" is a handy anti-Corbyn bandwagon - and you just can't help hopping on when one of those rolls by.
