Yeah it looks like the game is up now.

It seems their support would be forthcoming with the new found knowledge that we could, in theory, withdraw from an international treaty to escape the backstop. Something that we would never do in practice.

i.e. Both groups have been given a bung.

The DUP leader, Arlene Foster, has signalled her party is ready to do a deal to end the Brexit impasse, as Conservative Brexiters said they would ask lawyers to examine a new proposal to exit the backstop.

Tory Eurosceptics told the Guardian on Thursday that they and the DUP could be persuaded to back Theresa May’s Brexit deal if Geoffrey Cox, the attorney general, gave clearer legal advice about how the UK could withdraw from an international treaty.

From Guardian :

The US president also said he did not think another vote on Brexit would be possible because it would be unfair, and reiterated that he would like to see a US trade deal with the United Kingdom after it leaves the EU.

Replace "and reiterated that" with "because" obviously. What a cunt, if we end up staying in the EU, avoiding a trade deal with the US gov will be one of the best things about it for me.

Trump criticises May’s handling of Brexit, saying he is surprised “how badly” it has gone.

Oh really, maybe not quite as bad as his wall negotiations still though.

"Well I just got off the phone with Farage and he was crying his eyes out and squealing down the phone at me, wanted me to say something on twitter to try and turn this around, could hardly even make out what he was saying though. Has anyone even considered his feelings in the UK? So sad, so sad. It's so important that the UK leaves the EU so I can fleece them with my shit trade deal. So important."

Smeeth resigned from the Labour front bench to vote against the second referendum. I wonder how Stoke people's lives are going to improve outside the EU with the Tories in charge. This follows 250 odd voting for keeping no deal yesterday. There's not one politician worth the steam off a gnats piss in the Commons. It's embarrassing the mental gymnastics coming out of Parliament at the minute.

So they've now voted to ask for an extension but don't want May's Deal, are against no deal, don't want another referendum and didn't want Parliament to take control of the process.

So what do these fuckers want?? I now genuinely hope that the EU tells us to fuck off and stick to the 29th of March.

Do you? Do you genuinely hope that?
