And if the people vote the same again? Back to the parliament which does not have the majority for any of the proposals.

It's a mess that will last for generations.  Even if matters are resolved one way or another it will rumble on and on, dominating political discourse for decades to come.

But this wouldn't solve anything, the only solution the second referendum can offer is if the people vote remain.

I think the idea would be to vote on;

Approve Government deal or Remain

If legally binding we would either leave on the current deal, that the EU have agreed to or we would remain.

Mays deal or remain and it would be binding. Majority would accept the result ; even I would if it went in favour of her abortion of a deal.

There would be an uproar anyway, because you would be asking them to either vote for a deal many of them don't want, or accept remaining in the EU, which they think they already defeated in the first referendum. It would be like asking the public if they want May's deal or crash out with no deal.

Yep, can't see a way out of it, to be honest. It's not even as if there's likely to be a majority in favour of a public vote, let alone what would be on the ballot.

The only way out I can see is a General Election  (which some bloke from the 1922 Committee was saying would follow May's defeat, as night follows day). We would then have to hope for a Labour Government, who could postpone A50 while they negotiate their deal, which could then be put to a "Leave on these terms or Remain" referendum.

Yes, although the Tories are stubbornly stuck on around 40% in the opinion polls and have been for quite a while. They might also get a boost if they replace May (which is likely), so even if Labour poll around the same as last time, we'd still probably end up with a hung parliament. What a mess.
